Zodiac Cymbals 18" Crash Taurus Dry

The Taurus Dry 18" Crash is engineered for drummers who demand precision, control, and a distinctly dry tonal palette. Its attack is quick and cutting, opening into a tight, earthy wash with minimal overtones and a short‑to‑medium sustain. This cymbal emphasizes clarity and articulation, making it ideal for players who want a crash that sits cleanly in the mix without excessive shimmer or lingering resonance. Perfect for modern studio work, fusion, funk, and progressive styles, the Taurus Dry Crash delivers a voice that is both musical and restrained.

• Material: Hand‑hammered B20 bronze alloy (80% copper, 20% tin), chosen for its tonal richness and durability.
• Craftsmanship: Expertly hand‑hammered and lathed, with selective finishing to reduce overtone spread and enhance dryness.
• Sound Profile: Fast, articulate crash with a focused attack, producing a tight, dry wash that remains controlled with short‑to‑medium sustain.
• Applications: Ideal for studio recording, live performance, and practice, designed for intermediate to professional drummers seeking precision.
• Versatility: Excels in fusion, funk, progressive, and modern rock, where clarity and control are essential.
• Finish: Taurus signature matte, raw finish with subtle lathing, creating both a restrained visual aesthetic and a focused tonal response.

Taurus Dry 18" Crash is the controlled, articulate option in the Zodiac lineup — contrasting with the brighter Aquarius, darker Scorpio, and warmer Virgo series.
